Book Junkie

Understand this, readers – I love books. More than I love clothes, shoes and Manchester United. That’s the darn truth.

I have been a bookworm ever since I could read. I love reading; delving into another world, another life, using my imagination to bring the story to life. One of my dreams is to own an Ikea Billy Bookcase and fill the whole thing with books.

In addition to my mini H&M haul (here) I have gone a bit crazy in buying books in recent weeks:

(From Left to Right)
I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings
Gather Together in My Name
Singin' & Swingin' & Gettin' Merry Like Christmas
The Heart of a Woman
All by Maya Angelou

By Dorothy Koomson (British Author)
The Cupid Effect
The Woman He Loved Before

By Dorothy Koomson
The Ice Cream Girls
(Read this in 6 hours while chilling on a beach in Dom Rep...
could not put it down until I finshed it!)

This is the hardcover version from Amazon.co.uk
Found the Paperback version of this in the
Bargain Bookshop for £2 >_<

As the Earth Turns Silver - Alison Wong
Tranquilista - Kimberly Wilson
The Rules of Networking - Rob Yeung
I bought these books because they were £2 each....can't resist a bargain!

I’ve basically bought 10 books for about £25 - £27. It doesn’t help that my work colleague introduced to a Bargain Book Shop on Euston Road, London that sells all its books for just £2……..the shop had been there for 4 years and I didn’t know! Shame on me! This book shop has quite a few books from The No 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency series (by Alexander McCall Smith). I can’t wait to visit the shop and stock up on more books!

Any book junkies out there? Share your addiction!
