Last night I went to Shaka
Zulu a restaurant and bar lounge in Camden, for a friend’s birthday. Here are a
few pics from the evening – I have to say the restaurant surroundings are
amazing:
found chilling in the ladies toilets |
we were greeted by some of Simba's subjects (lion king anyone?) |
Food choices included
Crocodile Cigars for Starters, Chicken Bunny Chow, Zebra Fillet and Ostrich
Fillet. I went safe and ordered a half-rack of ribs, but I tasted the Chicken
Bunny Chow and that was quite nice!
my 'safe' choice - ribs and chips |
had to get my chocolate fix - choco brownie with ice-cream! |
the Birthday Girl had the brandy pudding for dessert - tasted nice |
Not only was the food nice, so
was the price….my friend is the owner of a “tastecard” and was able to get 50%
off the food bill. We saved £54, which is tremendous because the food was not
that cheap……
The venue is also used as a
club; it reminds me of the Rainforest Café in Central London.
I would eat at Shaka Zulu
again and next time I will be a bit more adventurous!
How awesome!
