Got Some Birthday Love

Hi guys!

It has been a long week for me……and work surprisingly has been relatively chilled. Well until Thursday and Friday!

Seems like forever since I did a proper post….

I had two casual birthday dinners – went to Kimchee in Holborn London followed by dessert at My Old Dutch, and Zizzi at One New Change near St Paul’s London:

At Kimchee:

Nice water feature at Kimchee

The writing's on the wall

This was my meal......and i didn't finish it!
it was lovely though

Yummy Dutch Apple Pie from
My Old Dutch....there's always room for dessert!

At Zizzi (didn't take as many pics....to busy gossiping!):

I thought this was a really cool wall feature

This was my starter - Calamari, yummy!
I also had lasagne and a chocolate tart...no pics though

The view of St. Paul's from One New Change at night
I had fun at both dinners - the laughter, the various conversations, the inappropriate jokes, and the love…….great fun with great friends. I love ‘em!

I also wanted to show off some the gifts I got from dear friends and family:

Yummy Carrot Cake from an old friend -
Tesco Finest, so I know she's got love for me lol!

A couple of the cards I received

I have to admit, the highlights of the gifts were the Topshop shoes from my sisters and the book 50 Shades of Grey, mostly because I was going to buy them.

There has been quite a bit of hype in the UK about 50 Shades of Grey; it’s supposed to be quite raunchy and explicit. Now being the book junkie that I am, I have read a fair few naughty books, so I look forward to reading this book to see whether it does live up to its hype!
