Happy
Easter! I hope that you are all having a great Easter; I have spent my Easter
in spiritual celebration. For those of you who gave up chocolate or any other
sweet stuff for Lent, don’t indulge too much today!
I was invited by
Danielle of Keep It SimpElle to indulge in Personal Shopping at Topshop, Oxford
Circus. I was aware that Topshop offered personal shopping; however I don’t
usually shop there and I thought that you had to pay for the service. Curiousity got the better of me, so last weeked I tottered to Oxford Circus for my first personal shopping experience.
Prior to our appointment (there were 5 of us in total), we completed a questionnaire. We provided our basic essential details; our clothing & shoe sizes and gave an insight into our style. As you may have seen from my blog, I’m the sort of girl who likes her basics and likes her comfort!

The waiting area |
Jo was our personal shopper for our appointment; she was very lovely and very helpful! She definitely took out the stress of having to shop in the Flagship Store; Jo had already provided a selection of clothes and shoes in our sizes. If we needed another size or another item, Jo would get it on our behalf. The only stress I had was deciding what to buy!

Our private suite! |
Topshop,
as usual had some lovely pieces – both basic and on trend:

Loved this entire outfit; the blazer is lush! |
We
were provided with a few sweet treats too:
In
the end, I bought a knitted quilted jumper – it’s really soft and I love the
fit. Ideal for lazy Sundays in a café or the cinema :¬)
I
had a great time at Topshop, especially with the girls. Usually I’m a lone
shopper, so it was nice to get objective views and encouragement from others. There
was no pressure to buy things, which was definitely a highlight and the best
thing is that using the personal shopping service is free! I would definitely use
Topshop’s service again – I’ll just make sure it’s after payday!
This is really awesome! I'm pretty sure being a 'personal shopper' is my dream job, telling people what to buy = awesome! I'm very soon due to make a scheduled stop at Topshop Oxord st - got my eye on those Orange heels ;-)

Aww You looked fabulous in that sweater. I will maybe try personal shopping in the near future, as Topshop is one of my favorite High Street Stores for Trendy items.

It looks like you had a great time! While going shopping with your friends in some boutiques is fun, having a personal shopper can be more exciting. Not only will the experience itself make you feel like a VIP, but you were also able to get great fashion tips as well. It's great when you have someone who can give you advice about the do’s and don’ts in fashion. Thanks for sharing!
