Cosmo and Clinique

What I like particularly like about Tesco (and WH Smith) is that from time to time, I can buy my regular magazines, namely Glamour and Cosmopolitan, a little bit earlier before it generally is supposed to go on sale. Like today, I was able to buy the April edition of Cosmopolitan while scavenging for lunch, even though it supposed to be on sale from 01 March 2012:

It's little things like that which make my day a tiny bit sweeter. Anyway, April’s edition comes with miniature Clinique gifts – Superbalm Gloss, High Impact Mascara, & 7 Day Scrub Cream, Moisture Surge (I believe that this is a cream/lotion? Correct me if I’m wrong). Two products come with each magazine.There were about 5 magazines available in the rack, and I did not hesitate to check each magazine to ensure that I got the right goodies for me…..meaning the 7 Day Scrub Cream and High Impact Mascara ^_^

I have used the scrub before; it’s got a nice creamy texture and the scrub is gentle enough to use on the face – 100% fragrance free. I’m hoping that the mascara will be good quality – at least better than the free mascara that came with the March edition of Elle (I thought it was too clumpy).

Apart from the mini freebies, I look forward to reading about “Crazy Sex - Real women push the limits and tell all!” and “Men confess all about break-ups, sex worries and your orgasm”……..sounds like exciting stuff!
